Our Projects

Superpower Women

The Superpower Women Project was initiated with the belief that every individual, regardless of gender, should have equal rights and opportunities to participate fully in social, political, educational, cultural, professional, and artistic life. The project aimed to raise awareness of the importance of greater female inclusion in decision-making processes and leadership roles. We recognize that the socio-economic development of a society is closely linked to its ability to integrate women into the political and professional spheres. Studies show that countries with higher socio-economic levels experience greater female political participation and the elimination of barriers preventing youth from engaging in decision-making processes.

The central goal of this project was to address these issues by advocating for the greater inclusion of women in management and leadership positions. We aimed to highlight the importance of social and political participation for women and to promote voluntary engagement in these causes.

The Superpower Women Project was designed to raise awareness on several important issues. Firstly, we sought to emphasize the need for women to have equal representation in both social and political spheres. Through this project, we raised awareness about the elimination of gender-based roles and stereotypes, advocating for equal opportunities for men and women in all aspects of life.

We also aimed to foster a deeper understanding of gender equality as a fundamental principle. We wanted participants to recognize that women should have a say in every aspect of society, at least as much as men. Our project also highlighted the struggles that women face in accessing leadership positions, encouraging society to better understand and support women’s journeys toward becoming managers and leaders in various fields.

Through our activities, we successfully engaged participants in discussions on the importance of equal educational opportunities and equal rights for women. We also worked to increase support for social responsibility initiatives that challenge gender inequality. By mobilizing voluntary participation, we helped bring attention to the need for societal support in eliminating sexist roles and discourses related to women’s roles and responsibilities.

Our project’s success was further marked by our efforts to increase the visibility of women’s participation in society, particularly through our dissemination efforts on social media. These activities helped raise awareness about increasing women’s employment and the need for greater support in achieving gender parity in leadership roles.

The project took place in Bucharest from 17-25 January 2022, with 60 participants from Romania, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovakia. Originally, we had planned for a Czech partner to participate, but due to unforeseen circumstances, they were unable to join. However, in collaboration with other partners, we were able to fill the missing participant slots and proceed with a diverse and engaged group.

The Superpower Women Project was a powerful and inspiring initiative that successfully raised awareness about the importance of women’s participation in leadership roles and decision-making processes. It also fostered a deeper understanding of gender equality and the barriers that women face in achieving equal representation.

Through the activities and discussions, participants gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities for women in politics, business, and management. By engaging with peers from different countries, they developed a broader perspective on the global struggles for gender equality and shared best practices for overcoming these challenges.

Overall, our project not only contributed to raising awareness but also inspired actionable change in the way society views and supports women in leadership positions. The visibility of the project’s efforts on social media and the active involvement of participants in voluntary actions helped create lasting impacts, encouraging further participation and advocacy for gender equality.

The Superpower Women Project was a step forward in empowering women and ensuring their voices are heard and valued in all aspects of society. We look forward to continuing our work toward building a more inclusive and equal world.

Let's Live

The Let's Live Project, implemented in Bucharest from 24th to 29th January 2023, was a significant initiative aimed at raising individual and societal awareness regarding the prevention of violence against women. This project was designed to address critical issues related to gender inequality, aiming to sensitize people to the pressing need for greater gender equality and protection of women's rights.

A key aspect of the project was to ensure that participants and partner organizations learned more about the dissemination of gender-sensitive policies and practices. Participants had the opportunity to understand the work being done in their own countries to combat violence against women, while contributing to raising awareness about the necessity for coordinated institutional efforts to address this issue.

Additionally, the Erasmus Plus Inclusion and Diversity priority was integrated into the project. Participants from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, were actively involved and equally assigned to the project's activities, ensuring an inclusive and diverse environment. Furthermore, the project utilized the Erasmus Plus Digital Competence priority, enhancing participants' digital skills throughout the preparation, implementation, and sustainability stages of the project. The participants also engaged in discussions about environmentally friendly practices, contributing to environmental awareness.

The Let's Live Project aimed to achieve the following objectives:

We successfully raised awareness among participants and partner organizations about the different forms of violence against women. This included understanding the negative effects of male violence and emphasizing the need for stronger efforts to combat this issue.

The project highlighted the importance of gender equality and the need for more concerted work to popularize and support this concept. Women’s empowerment was a central theme, with activities designed to support their presence and participation in all areas of society.

We emphasized the importance of encouraging women in all types of education, training, and career development opportunities. The project encouraged young people to adopt more positive and supportive attitudes toward women’s development.

Participants gained valuable information about the Erasmus Plus Program and the Youthpass Certificate, which recognizes non-formal learning. This helped broaden their knowledge about the opportunities these programs offer.

The project worked towards preventing xenophobia and fostering a tolerant environment. Participants from diverse backgrounds were encouraged to share experiences, learn from one another, and build a sense of solidarity.

Evaluation activities encouraged participants to develop self-awareness and critical thinking skills, which were essential for their personal growth and future involvement in social causes. Cultural activities were organized to promote interaction and enhance communication skills in English, further developing participants' ability to engage with different cultural groups. Through collaborative tasks, participants worked together to address issues such as gender inequality and violence against women, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and problem-solving.

The project involved 60 participants from Ukraine, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Romania, and Turkey. Of these, 30 participants were young individuals with fewer opportunities, aged 18-30. These participants faced economic and geographical barriers, and many had not previously participated in Erasmus Plus projects. They were especially encouraged to participate as they were responsible for supporting their families or had not completed their education due to financial constraints.

Through this project, we supported these participants in taking time for personal development, acquiring new skills, and interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds. These young people gained valuable experiences that contributed to their personal and professional growth, and follow-up meetings were held to encourage them to continue their journey of empowerment and learning.

The Let's Live Project successfully raised awareness about gender-based violence and contributed to creating a more informed and inclusive environment for both women and men. By promoting gender equality, supporting women's education and empowerment, and fostering intercultural cooperation, the project empowered young people to become active advocates for a society free from violence and discrimination. Through this initiative, we not only addressed important social issues but also encouraged personal development and the creation of lasting positive change in the lives of our participants.
